Wellness Coalition


The Wellness Coalition is an Employee Resource Group nested within the National Park Service Wellness Program. This initiative is positioned within the Safety Office to support staff and community Psychological Safety.

Who
are we?

The Wellness Coalition is an ever-evolving group of voluntary individuals that participate in a variety of ways. The Coalition is hosted by the National Park Service but invites participation from all partner staff and community members.

The goal of this group is to build connection and empower individuals to get involved in their own Self Care and Wellbeing.


What do we do?

  • The Wellness Coalition creates the monthly Word for Yo’ Wellness Newsletter.

  • Provides a variety of resources, events, and activities .

  • Partners with park DEI and Sustainability initiatives to host


Get Involved!

Are you interested in contributing to the overall wellness of our community? Do you have a skill you'd like to share with your community? We are recruiting local residents and employees to join our parkwide wellness team! Jump in on the ground floor and contribute your skills and abilities to working towards a healthier park community.

We are seeking out individuals who have skills in event planning, writing for the Newsletter,
social media and outreach assistance, and peer-led events.
